Security experts: portable devices pose the greatest threat to the security companies








A large group of experts working in the field believed that the use of the information security staff phones to their computers at work will represent a major threat to the security of companies in 2014.

He said a survey conducted by Ponemon Institute who specializes in information security research that 75 percent of security experts participants stressed that mobile devices will threaten the security of information within companies over the next year.

He pointed to the survey, 68 percent of which polled experts exposed their devices to attacks by malicious software during the current year, and that more than half of the participating experts confirmed that the seriousness of portable devices increases when the private security team does not have a corporate mandate verification of devices used by staff safety.

This, and the survey confirmed that mobile devices are not the only ones that will worry about information security experts during 2014, will be directed where malicious software attacks and other problems that threaten the security companies next year.

And across 39 percent of respondents expressed concern about the targeted attacks aimed at stealing data from specific companies or intended to plant spy software, while 70% said that the malware significantly contribute to the high operating costs of companies.

It is noteworthy that 41 percent of participants polled security experts confirmed that they faced more than 50 attack and attempts to implant malicious software over a month in 2013.
